* Morseīs solo piece was introduced as "Guitar String" at least at the first two shows. Under that title it also appeared on the mixing desk set list in Hamburg. As the tour progressed, the number adopted other titles such as "The Well-tempered Guitar", "The Ill-tempered Guitar" or "The Well-dressed Guitar".

Finally an explanation for the occasional exclusion of the second, and at least once even the second and the third movement (probably in Murcia). This was due to the receptiveness of the audience. As I personally witnessed in Milan, the audience was so enthusiastic that they applauded within the numbers, especially during the very quiet moments. In Rotterdam, however, there was a permanent murmur going on all through the 1^st movement and a constant cracking of plastic beer cups. The lack of seating in the venue might have been part of the reason for this - everyone feeling entitled to behave like at a normal rock concert.

Understandably, all this was not taken too well by the musicians, so, according to Steve Morse, Jon Lord decided to cut it short. These decisions were made either while the concert was already in progress or before the show. In those cases, Jon could tell how the audience would react from long-time experience. I just wonder why no announcements were made before the shows telling the people to remain quiet during the numbers.
