Simon Robinson of the DPAS was discontent with this release, since it contained some previously unreleased material aimed at collectors (and thereby forcing die-hards to buy an otherwise useless album) -- tracks like &quot;Grabsplatter&quot;. Consequently, he persuaded EMI to do a new version aimed strictly at new fans. The new version was released in 1991 as <a href="comp24.html">Deep Purple Anthology</a>.
