Tinley Park Show August 22nd
When I heard that Steve Morse had replaced Ritchie Blackmore has the DP guitarist I must admit I was skeptical to say the least. But after seeing Steve twice and especially after the most recent, show let me just say GOODBYE RITCHIE AND GOOD RIDDANCE!!!! Steve Morse is a superior guitarist, period.
The band played tight as a drum and they clearly were having fun on stage. I haven't heard Strange Kind of Woman in a long time and enjoyed hearing it performed live again. My only disappointment was not hearing 69 and 7th Heaven from the new CD.
Can't wait to see them again!
