Deep Purple, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Dream Theater

The third show of the tour, and my third too! My friends Chris, Lesley and Megan made our way to the pre show gathering which was put together by Rich. A great time was had by all, and thanks to the CMC guys, Rich was able to give away some great prizes, and Rich totally took care of everyone. Great job Rich! :-)
We made our way to the venue, and caught another good set by Dream Theater. We were to the right of the stage, and missed out on some of ELP's action. Still a good show though. They dropped Touch And Go, but incorporated 21st Century Schizoid man into Fanfare. Well done!
And Purple? Wow, three amazing nights in a row! Gillan was just all over the place! Another energetic and technically great show. Seventh Heaven was once again left out in favor of Any Fule Know That. Ian was up to his usual antics "somebody's drunk my drink!" and was having a great night. The crowd were very receptive too. Some goof next to my friend said "wow, these guys do a lot of Deep Purple songs." "Er, what did you think, asked my friend, it IS Deep Purple." "It is?" asked the guy. "Where is Ritchie?" He was won over by Lazy though!
Another amazing night, and on to Jones Beach!
