House of Blues Orlando
This was a great show with everyone on stage appearing to be having pure fun in playing a great set. The two new songs, Seventh Heaven and Any Fool Knows That were very good, the first being my fav of the two. Steve Morse and Jon Lord had a couple great duels between keyboards and guitar, as well as Ian Gillan and Steve Morse trading back and forth with great harmonic sync. For me hearing "Bloodsucker" live was a treat. Overall, the musicmanship was nothing less than perfect, and the singing of Ian Gillan stands the test of time...the audience enjoyed it as we were in the pit about four back...Ian Gillan took time to shake hands with front row people and autograph for a few, drum sticks and picks flew at the close...it was top drawer all the way. The only disappointment came from not offering tour stuff; t-shirts, etc at the show...
