Düsseldorf, October 9th
I have been to the concert in Düsseldorf on October 9th and I think it was fantastic!
The band has been in it's best form I have ever seen, the sound of the Philipshalle was great and the audience was celebrating the best way it could. In my opinion Steve's guitar playing is one of the reasons for the new an powerfull sound of the band. It might be an inspiration for the other member's virtous playing and singing. Jon's part was as good as it was in the 70s, perhaps better. Ian's drum playing is one of the best I have ever heard, Roger plays powerful and masterly. And at last vocals of an Ian Gillan at his best, especially in "Woman from Tokyo". All in all it was fun in it's best way. Everyone in the Purple community, who has not made his decision yet, buy yourself a ticket and visit this band. It was great, superb!
