Once again I travelled from Switzerland to Germany to enjoy my last Purple show this year. In this small town in the German mountains the boys played once again a hell of a show. With the support band "Sinner" the house was already rocking, but when Purple entered the stage the crowd went mad. There were many people from Italy and Austria and not many teenagers in the audience. The setlist was the same as on the most shows on this leg of the tour, but I enjoyed some interesting new parts in "Pictures of home" and "Speed king" . Gillan's voice was even better than a month before in Essen, Steve was smiling (as always) and Paicey was as solid as ever.
The climax of the day was when I met Jon Lord after the show before he went into the Limousine. What a gentleman! God bless this band and will hopefully bring them to Switherland again next year.
