Concert October 1. in Copenhagen
Yesterday a friend and I went to KB-Hallen in Copenhagen to listen to Deep Purple.
It was a really good concert and the band played really well.
Glower seems to be younger and younger and better and better.
Gillan gets bigger and bigger and better and better.
Lord gets older and older and seems to have full control over the band and he treats the keyboards better and better.
Paice is also getting bigger and bigger and he plays like a young man with a lot of experience.
And then the new member. Steve Morse.
He plays like he´s been with the band for 20 years.
BUT BUT BUT...
They played much too loud. Many of the fine nuances disappeared in the wall of sound.
But all in all a fine concert.
