Deep Purple were amazing!
A great performance by one of the greatest bands ever. Lord and Paice were fabulous, Morse made you forget Blackmore, Glover hasn't changed an iota physically or musically and Gillan, well one of the best vocalists ever gave an impressive performance. My favourite on the night was "Space Truckin'" followed by "Highway Star" and Steve Morse's solo.
I last saw them in Madrid during their "Perfect Strangers" tour, this time I enjoyed them more. Playing in smaller venues gets the audience more "in touch" with the band. My wife joined me for her first DP concert, now we are both longing for our next one.
