Milestones of rock and roll
The Purple boys were inspired and concentrated.
The setlist was the same as the previous dates in Italy except the slight variation on the introduction to "Smoke On The Water". Don Airey seemed like a permanent member of the band (thank you Don for your precious support) and Steve Morse was absolutely terrific!
On this tour, I expected more songs from "Abandon" or "Purpendicular", but perhaps the absence of Jon Lord modified the setlist.
What can I say about Glover, Gillan and Paice? They are simply the milestones of rock and roll.
Now we are waiting for the new studio album and the new world tour. We are looking forward to see you!
