Deep Purple rocks Hartford
What can I say but... what a show! It was great seeing the boys back again! Maybe next time they will do some of their other hits and not be as pressed for time. They certainly have that familiar "PURPLE" sound as we all remember.
Would have been nice to see at least a compressed Ian solo, maybe next show they can interject that element. Hope that they will continue to tour and maybe do a headlining event again with Nugent. As usual Ted was great although he lacked the drive of his key motivator, drummer Tommy Aldridge who is out of action due to a damaged rotator cup. Ted is one of the great American heroes! Keep up the great work on the website - your products are fantastic and your site is user friendly and very informative.
