Vintage Purple
Last night's show here in Chicago was vintage Purple! The band sounded incredible. Ian Gillan's voice was right on from start to finish. He had no problem at all hitting the high notes last night. The entire crowd was on its feet from start to finish. To top off my evening I had the luck of catching one of Paice's drum sticks!
I'm 50 years old and have been a Purple fan since 1968. It was great to see the wide range of ages rocking and singing to EVERY song the band did. They proved, as they do EVERY night, why they are truly one of rock's most legendary great bands of ALL TIME!!
