Great song selection
On a triple bill with Ted Nugent and Lynyrd Skynyrd, Deep Purple proved to a packed house just who were the most talented musicians performing on this night. With vocalist Ian Gillan sounding 10 times better than any rock and roller his age and looking fit and healthy, drummer Ian Paice playing flawlessly, Roger Glover showing incredible bass skills, Jon Lord on the keyboards reminding us of all his classic riffs that were the soundtracks to our lives and Steve Morse showing why he is the most respected electric rock guitarist in the world, these guys took to the stage and showed the full house at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center just how great an international rock band can be. With it being 33 years since they released the song "Hush", one can only hope that Deep Purple with be playing music for another 33 years so the world will be filled with quality rock and roll music. Great sound, great lighting, great song selection, a flawless performance!!!!!
