Sydney March 10th
As a deep rooted fan of Deep Purple it was fantastic to see that nothing much has changed with the musical style and sound. Superb lead guitar and vocals!
The support band yesterday was TERRIBLE. [That's an interesting name for a support band! ;^) Ed.] Please try to have a support band that is sympathetic with the musical style that the audience are expecting for the night. Whoever that band was - they did Deep Purple a dis-service. People were cheering to see them leave as the support music could only be described as incongruous noise that could be generated by double figure IQ minds with basic music skills.
The Deep Purple sound was terrific and I would definitely see DP again if they return to Sydney.
