The Purple gig was fabulous! A big group of us go together to see the band whenever they are in our town. It was great to hear some old songs!!!!! Some I had never heard live before - "Mary Long" and "No One Came".
Everyone seemed happy and relaxed on stage. Lots of smiles.
The only strange element seemed to be the brass section and backing vocalists???????? No one could hear them, why were they there????? Hmmm... There were hired girlies to stand next to the stage a couple of years ago??? We don't get it!
But a great night.
