Deep Purple Live in Vienna, 27.10.2000
We gave Deep Purple and Ronnie James Dio and Maestro Paul Mann a nice welcome at the Vienna airport. Deep Purple remembered us because we also talked to them in Montreux and at Kleine Scheidegg (CH). We were the only Austrian fans at the airport!
Then we drove together to the hotel where we talked to the band and took a few pictures. The concert itself was fantastic, of course. We knew this because we had seen them in Zurich the week before.
Next day we shook hands, said goodbye and told them, we would come to Munich also.
We read all the fan reports written with such big enthusiasm and love. We would also like to say: Dear Ian, Jon, Steve, Roger, Ian, thank you for all those years, your brilliant songs and your infectious smiles. You gave and still give so much happiness to us, you make our life wonderful. All the best to you.
