Concert 30 september 2000
Hello,
I am Peter. I am 15 years old and I am a great fan of Deep Purple. I have all their albums. When I saw that they would come to Belgium, Antwerp, I knew I had to go there, I live near the Sportpaleis.
And the concert itself. When Jon Lord came on alone, I knew he would play the beautiful song "Pictured Within", what a thrill. When Ronnie James Dio and the rest of Deep Purple (except Gillan) came on, and they played "Love Is All" and especially "Rainbow In The Dark", my evening was already a success.
But then came Ian Gillan, he sung a marvellous "Ted The Mechanic", but also "Pictures Of Home" and "Fools". Then the beautiful "Concerto" performed with Deep Purple.
Then after Gillan came back, he sung a few songs and the good stop "Smoke On The Water".
Whatever people say, it was marvellous!!! I hope you come back next year!!!
