Deep Purple in Argentina
deep purple finally played in buenos aires, and they've been absolutely
great!!! i've been at the stadium on saturday and sunday night, and the
show was something memorable. I can say that sunday was a little bit better
than saturday, the band sound more relaxed and the crowd was really wilder.
The two shows were very similar, with the change of just one song:
'sometimes i feel like screaming' (sunday), for 'the aviator' (saturday).
on saturday they seemed a little low, maybe for what happended in Santiago,
but the people made them feel very comfortable and they came out for the
last songs very excited. On sunday the crowd was rumblin', bumblin',
stumblin' all around the place and gillan get
iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...........
i saw ian gillan two times before this, and i think his one of the greatest
singers of rock and roll history. jon lord was amazing, filling our ears
with greatest sounds. the rest of the band did very well, and i didn't
missed mister rb in anyway. i think he has nothing to do at this dp moment.
i hope they come back to south america in their next tour, because people
here is hungry for them and will never forget them.
greetings from
mariano
and excuse me for my bad english
ps: the best songs were 'no one came' (saturday), 'sometimes i feel like
screaming' (sunday), 'fireball' (sunday), 'speed king' (sunday), 'smoke on
the water' (sunday) and 'highway star' (sunday).
