Another great show! Much better sound than in Chicago but the crowd somewhat subdued until way into the concert. When Speep King hit--it got wild! I found myself front row center for SK and the encores. What energy!

After the show I went backstage and visited with the band and a small group of other fans. Ian Paice again took off-but all the others stuck around till all questions were answered, which I know must be very difficult for them being so tired. (Hell, I was exhausted just watching). I do remember Steve Morse mentioning he was not particularly pleased with his performance this evening??? I thought he did great!

After the backstage visit, Colin took my fiance and I for a tour of the tour bus and the stage. From there off to the hotel where DP was staying and we checked in and spent what seemed like several hours visiting with Colin about his 25 year association with the group. I think a book deal is a must!

After getting invited by Colin to see the shows in Pittsburgh, York and Asbury Park, I will try my hardest to get out there! Again, many thanks Colin.
