I saw the show tonight and it was great - i've never seen purple but they were one of the first heavy things i ever heard, in 1976 or so. And morse's playing i've loved for years. They ripped for about 2 hours I don't know the whole setlist - hopefully someone'll post it, but they opened with HUSH, and the last encore was HIGHWAY STAR. between were a lotta new tunes like VAVOOM/TED, CASCADES, CISCO, ROSA'S, etc. Of course SMOKE O.T.W, BLIND,PICTURES. what a great set - Jon Lord is incredible - how is he not deaf?? trading great lines with morse - who was in fine form - he holds to the heavy blues sound, though, with only occasional bursts into morse-hyperspeed. it was great. Gillan is right on - i think he was poking fun at the charges that Blackmore has been making that he chronically forgets words - he went over to jon lord during 'smoke' and seemed to be getting jon to yell him the words!!
