My first time at a Deep Purple concert
ever, and it was the most fantastic experience of my life.
Ian Gillan was on, as were the rest of the band. I was very impressed by Don
Airey and by Steve Morse.
I am very thankful that they decided to play in the Northwest, and I hope that
they will be back soon.

Nice evening all around! The venue is state of the art, recently
built.
Thin Lizzy sounded much better than they did in February very tight,
and John Sykes was slick, very cool.
Joe Satriani was pumped throughout his performance including lots of
crowd participation, he's simply wild! Mentioning at one point:"you guys
live in the most beautiful corner of the world." Very classy!
What can be said about Deep Purple that hasn't already been said? Well,
they have a different edge, I don't know what it is, but no dissapointments
here.
This concert was the first after a three-day break, but at the end of a tour
and I say they gave 100% of themselves, Gillan in very odd form, Steve Morse
pulling no punches, Ian Paice very clear, Roger in high spirits stepping up
onto the drum riser at one point and moving about the stage all night as usual.
But for me it was Don Airey that held his mud best, man was he hot tonight!
Very loud thundering noises,he was comanding, I'm glad to say I got my money's
worth.
From classic rock to a new era. May the best days lie ahead for all...
