I attended the show last night and DP was great. Joe Satriani complements the band perfectly as a prelude. DP interacted with the audience beautifully, even though only half of those in attendance seemed to show their appreciation.
How can I locate a playlist of the songs perfromed last night?
DP is a very classy band - I look forward to attending additional shows.

Having just seen them in February in Atlantic City, I had very high hopes for this show. I was not disappointed. The band was tight, and Ian's voice was in VERY good shape. During Strange Kind of Woman, Steve had a problem with his guitar, and had to spend a few minutes fixing his rig. So Don Airey jumped right in with an extended organ solo that just got more and more intense as it went. He was clearly enjoying himself. Happily, Steve's guitar gave him no more trouble for the rest of the set.
Speaking of the set, my only complaint is that it was too short. Granted, you have this with a three band bill, but I still felt that they weren't on stage long enough. They didn't play When a Blind Man Cries, which disappointed my lovely wife immensely as it is her favorite DP song. They also didn't play Lazy, which is very unusual as that song has been a concert staple since it was written. They also played nothing from Purpendicular or Abandon. I have nothing against leaving out some staples, if they are replaced by lesser played gems that deserve to be heard. But there were none of those.However, the songs they did play, nothing out of the ordinary, I won't write out the whole setlist as I am sure that someone else will, were played extremely well. They played every note at 100%, nothing less. All in all I left the show with a smile on my face. Happy Birthday Ian.

Another excellent show from Purples! Having seen them every time they have come to the NY/NJ area since Perfect Strangers I can say they just keep getting better.
Really like the new stuff, I miss 'Ted' and would really like to hear 'Any Fule...' live or some other surpise tidbit from the past (wouldn't it be really cool for the current lineup to pull out 'Burn' ?)
Great job from Don saving Strange Kind Of Woman when Steve had some technical difficulties, they couldn't have gotten a better keys man. I only hope when Living Loud do a U.S. tour they come to NJ (The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville would be great)!

What a great show!
This was my second from the Bananas tour - about the 20th overall. As usual the sound was incredible and the band was fantastic. Sitting in the 5th row really makes you appreciate the band that much more. During Strange Kind Of Woman just as Steve was about to play his solo there was a problem with his guitar and Don filled in with a great solo of his own. Even Ian said after the song had ended " Nice one Don".
It amazes me how great this band is. It will be interesting to see in a couple of years if there will be another studio album. It will be very difficult to do better than Bananas. I feel this is not only a great record but the best one from the Steve Morse era so far.
If there is anything I could change it would be this. If any member of Deep Purple reads this please take this into consideration. I have been waiting forever to hear Flight Of The Rat and Smooth Dancer live in concert. Tell me Smooth Dancer would not make a great opener, and you could play Flight Of The Rat, then a Ian Paice drum solo, then have it move into either Fireball or Pictures Of Home. I am not complaining but that would be awesome.
One last thing, a DVD and a CD set live from this tour must be released. These shows have been so good something must be released.
Ian Gillan has a way of saying thanks not just for tonight but for all the years. Well, I would like to say to Deep Purple, thank you not just for this show but for all the years as well. God Bless and come back to New Jersey soon!
