Cheer the Lord What can I say that everyone else hasn't said already - absolutely brilliant! When did Purple last play as a six-piece band? Set list followed the last (cut short) UK tour closely, I can only remember Child In Time as being missing. [Up The Wall mustn't have made such a big impression then... Rasmus] BUT - the line-up was as the official one up till Perfect Stranglers and then - Mr. Lord appears after Don's solo - Wow! Jon got one of the biggest cheers of the night! The two of them shared keyboard duties after that - Don having (it seemed) to follow Jon's lead sometimes - especially in Highway Star where he didn't seem to know the song well at all and had to ask Jon for help throughout. Great atmosphere in York, just wish I could see them for more nights of the tour! Great to see so many families there too with the 'next generation' of rock fans. So; overall a great gig, better I think than I saw them last (Grimsby), and Thank You Mr. Lord!
