Unbelievable! Just back from Hammersmith Odeon (I'm an oldie!) - fabulous! Lucky enough to get front row again... the band were incredible. Soooo loud - can't hear a thing right now. Don't understand why Purple aren't the biggest band in the universe - they're definitely the best. Brilliant to see Jon Lord. Very excited about 'same again' tomorrow, although sad that it'll be Jon's last London gig.
