Yeah! Deep Purple on tour again, yeah! But reading the ad was already disappointing because Hamburg was the only city where Dio wouldn't appear. The Planets were great though, a nice mixture of classic and rock. (Still not classic rock.) Deep Purple really kicked ass a lot (did you expect anything else?). A well chosen setlist and the band in fantastic shape rocked the audience Don Airey to no surprise was fantastic though Jon Lord will be missed. But if there is someone who can replace Jon it's definitely Don. So, with perfect weather and the crowd going mental I only wondered why they didn't play Knocking At Your Back Door in Hamburg. They did in all the other cities, at least in Germany. And just one more thing: Isn't there anybody but me who'd like to see them perform Child In Time live once again?
