Truckin' for Space
As fourth time seeing Deep Purple, twice from first row, I thought they were great. Even with Don Airey on keyboards, they proved that bands around since Led Zeppelin can prove a thing or two to the newcomers.
The show included Space Truckin', a rarity [Goes to show what a 10-day holiday can do! Rasmus], and a new song (Well Dressed Guitar) from a yet to be recorded new album. Steve Morse, as usual, steals the show. Easily the best guitarist in the world, yet amazingly humble in person.
The only complaint was it wasn't long enough. Knocking At Your Back Door and Perfect Strangers were terrific, wished steve had done his usual seven-minute guitar solo too, next time Steve.
Thanks for the memories.
