Happy lass

I built myself up to the night so much I thought the performance could not possibly measure up to the expectation. I was wrong.

Despite obvious difficulties, Ian battled through a difficult initial time on stage with an obviously sore throat, to rise to a brilliant performance despite the odds. My section of the crowd was worried for him, and could not believe how he seemed to recover to perform both the new material and old classics, as brilliantly as ever. As usual a tight entertaining performance by the best. A great night, and lucky enough to get a Glover plectrum. I was a very happy lass.
